20 Minute Breaks Every 2 Hours Improves Your Performance and Mental Health

Coworking

Have you noticed you haven’t been too productive lately? Chances are you aren’t taking enough breaks throughout the day.  Shifting your focus away from work during business hours can help keep your stress which improves your productivity.

Think of yourself as a smartphone. If you use it all day without any charge breaks you’ll deplete yourself a lot quicker than you think. Plus, it can also make your day a lot more interesting and upbeat. Going for a quick walk around the office building, take a quick rest underneath an oak tree. Go out and get some fresh and to recharge those batteries of yours.

If you work a normal eight to nine hour day 5 days a week this is a must. If you can’t find time to take 20 minute breaks every 2 hours, try and find something to do once a day other than lunch that you plan ahead the day before. Plan a coffee date with a friend in the afternoon, go visit a dog shelter nearby to have a midday cheer. Structured times and pre planned activities are great for creativity and productivity.
